Early 2020 we were ecstatic she fell pregnant, our first.
28 weeks later, a scan revealed our baby had Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, a defect that affects lung growth.
Our baby was given a 10-40% survival rate.
My wife carried full term, knowing we might not have a child to bring home.
The emotional toll was heartbreaking, but she battled to give our baby a chance.
I'm still in awe of the strength she held throughout that difficult time, an inspiration to me and our two year old little girl.
