I promised her my best,
but I fell short, time and time again.
I kept promising to be better and one day she said You promise everything and deliver on nothing.
I promise you nothing and deliver you everything'
She was right.
I felt down and ashamed, so I vowed I wouldn't tell her anymore.
I'd show her.
I gave up smoking as she hated it and at the end of one month she said;
