mānawa (heart)

She is my Mānawa.
The word mānawa means the heart
but it is also means metaphorically the seat of emotions.
My wife is my soul mate, she is my metaphorical heart
and repository of love and aroha in our whānau.
She is the mānawa, the centre, the heart to her tamariki and mokopuna.
I'm privileged to have her in my life and I tell her I love her, every day.
