This Is Not Yours to Carry is our debut children’s book, created for a new generation of cycle breakers. Written by Sarah Brown with Matt Brown and illustrated by their eldest daughter, Oceana Olsen, this empowering story follows Tai and children like him as they learn that some burdens are not theirs to carry.
Inspired by Matt’s own childhood experience in refuge, this book shares a message of hope, healing, and freedom for children living in violence. As part of our mission, we aim to raise funds to donate 125,000+ hardcover copies to children in refuges worldwide.
